About Us

In 2020, our founders experienced the impact of the fires in Oregon, destroying entire communities and devastating lives throughout the area. Responding to requests for replacement and emergency housing, an existing modular small home and cabin construction facility was realigned to build immediate housing solutions. Material configurations were tested, production methods were pressured and an idea was born.

Manufactured, Factory-built, and Modular Construction terms are misunderstood throughout the industry and the term “affordable” is overused and lacking context. Missing from the conversation is the blending of modern manufacturing with refined logistics to deliver structural sections and panels, prefabricated and ready for staging using :Just In Time” strategies. Essentially combine big box retailer distribution strategies connected to automotive or technology assembly production, then back it all up with project capital and skill training for the job site crew.

REDEFINE NOT REPLACE

According to the US Census Bureau, there are 402,676 home builders in the United States and 51,000 property developers who built less than 1.5 million homes in 2024. Considering the shortage of homes available within the range of more than 30% of all families and the need for 6,000,000 new homes, this rate of construction has a paralyzing effect on communities and their economies across the nation.

To tackle the problem, builders must have access to the latest efficient construction methods and supported with material improvements. Our mission is to help those developers and builders by delivering more efficient solutions with the right tools and services. Phoenix MBS is developing a new platform that reduces part handling and introduces more integrated structural assemblies, a proven trend employed by most technology companies today.

Applying experience gained collectively and consolidating operations, 2023 saw the beginning of our research into the modular construction landscape, including the materials, tools, and logistics behind that construction method.

Realizing that a closer relationship with vendors was critical combined with elements of the off-site construction trend, our team began to develop a new model that took into account materials handling and resources craftsmen needed to remain current with the changing vertical construction profile
